So far the official news of the Pronios reported in the manuscripts of the Royal Library of Naples and in the documentation of Introdacqua.

But now let's move on to tell you, starting from the birth certificates and from the municipal and parish documents found after diligent research, who our ancestors were and how we got there, following the direct line of descendants, up to the present day.

So let's start the story about my origins and those of our whole beautiful family.

My paternal grandparents, Nicola Pronio and Anna Teramo, filled the memories of most of my childhood, since I was born A Giuliano Teatino. A few days ago, talking about them with others of my family, I asked myself: "What kind of job did my grandparents do?" I don't remember them carrying out any work activity. The grandmother everyone called Donna Annina dedicated herself to household and culinary activities, helped by Angiolina and others I don't remember. Grandfather Nicola, called "Nicolino", delighted in carpentry. I remember his laboratory, located on the ground floor of the building in front of his father's house, very well equipped and huge, in which he made  wooden objects and chiseled openwork like embroidery. Of these we three brothers still have pieces framed in paintings protected by glass that we keep with enormous affection. I will talk to you about this and more .

Of my maternal grandparents, Ciarrocchi Ottaviano and Verdecchia Maria, from Teramo in Ponte Vezzola, I have memories of when I was older, I went to spend part of the summer holidays with my little brother Ezio. The grandparents had in addition to an emporium fully stocked with everything, including a tobacconist's, a lot of land in the surrounding area, cultivated with wheat and more. And how not to mention my uncles Antonio and Elia who entertained us by taking us with them on the bus, the first of the family, the ones with the reduced, the engine in the cabin next to the driver and without power steering!  I will talk to you about this and more .
